YELLOW BEANIE ANNOUNCES THE LONGEST NIGHT, A CHAMBER MUSIC EXPERIENCE

Cumberland County, NC – [November 29, 2023] A Yellow Beanie Project is thrilled to announce their next project, The Longest Night, a chamber music experience in partnership with the Camelia Chamber Music Project. The performance will take place on December 20 at 8:00 PM at Dirtbag Ales Taproom & Brewery and will feature violinists Megan Kenney and Holland Phillips, with guest musicians.

This concert takes place on the eve of the winter solstice, the longest night of the calendar year, and often referred to as Blue Christmas. The one-hour program revolves around the theme of meditation, recognizing that the holiday season can be emotionally challenging for many individuals. "It’s our hope that this program brings members of the community together for an evening of introspection," says Michael Houck, Yellow Beanie Creative Producer. Through carefully curated musical pieces, this program aims to be a moving experience that provides an opportunity to acknowledge the emotional weight that the holiday season may carry while creating a space for reflection and comfort.

Yellow Beanie’s "pay-what-you-can" admission model reflects our belief in the universal accessibility of the arts, ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial means, can experience the transformative power of live music. Whether it's a dollar, ten dollars, or more, attendees are encouraged to contribute what they can to help sustain live arts in the Cumberland County community. Reservations can be made at www.ayellowbeanieproject.com. Tickets are also available from VetTix.
